An English Breakfast

“Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper”
Adelle Davis (Nutritionist and Writer, 1904-1974)

a colleague sent me this quote which i quite like
however, i don't particularly like a typical English breakfast although i did try it for the sake of saying i had it : ) here is a pic of some of what you typically see here. it usually consist of ham and sausage!!!! + baked beans+fried eggs+white toast+ tomatoes and sometimes mushrooms :P

Architecture for Breakfast anyone?...on living with co-workers

arhcitectured out? ...hehehe never! when living with your co-workers it's inevitable that you talk about work and architecture if your an architect as in my case. but i just found it kind of funny that over our cereal this morning chi and i were discussing "blobitecture" structural ring beams and the merit of inefficient structures vs. sustainability......are we nerds or what? : p

Bajofondo tango club!...a night at the Barbican

i am not usually one to spend money on concerts but my flat mate/ coworker chi convinced me to go to this one and i am glad she did. this group of musicians known as the http://www.bajofondotangoclub.com/ ...too hard to describe their style or sound you just have to check out their music. they are from Argentina and are part of a series of concerts playing in London during the Latin music festival.

4 wonderful days in SCOTLAND!

I have just been on a wonderful 4 day trip to Scotland with my co-worker Chi, visiting both Edinburgh and Glasgow. I have so many pictures I am overwhelmed with which to post here on the blog! It was such an amazing trip…the architecture, the landscape, overall a great place to visit...wonderful contrast of the old and the new

So I’ll just post the first series of pix in no particular order without a lot of thought as I think if I wait till I have time to post individual thoughts on each image I’ll never post anything!! : )

Just have to say the Scottish in particular the Glaswegians have the most amazing accent :P
